Show Details
Rufus Norris directs the West End revival of Cabaret as it returns to the London stage in a major new version.
Adapted from the original 1966 Broadway production by Joe Materoff, Fred Ebb and John Kander, this thrilling musical turns the pre-war Weimar Berlin of 1931 into a seedy, dark and sexually charged haven of decadence and debauchery.
The drama plunges the audience into a voyeuristic world where the extraordinary and morally ambiguous inhabitants struggle to make sense of their lives in a tumultuous world that is falling headlong into the abyss of Nazism.
Join the legendary Sally Bowles live at the Kit Kat Klub: "A shimmering masterpiece of a show guaranteed night after night! It's divine decadence darling!"
Written and directed strictly for an adult audience, the show contains both full frontal nudity and is recommended as suitable for over 12s.
'Brilliant. Cabaret increasingly looks one of the defining musicals of the postwar era” - The Guardian
