Written by comedian and author Ben Elton in collaboration with Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor, the successful musical We Will Rock You tells the story of Planet Mall, a tongue-in-cheek dystopian future world where everyone watches the same movies, dresses the same and thinks the same thoughts. Originality and individualism are shunned, but one lone rebel has a vision to destroy conformity and bring back rock 'n roll.

The original production of We Will Rock You opened on May 12, 2002 at the Dominion Theatre in London. Now in its 6th year, it became the longest running musical at the venue in August 2005.
