The magic of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic trilogy is bought to the West End stage in Matthew Warchus' critically acclaimed musical adaptation.

The impressive production has dazzled audiences and critics alike with it's combination of spectacular effects, powerful story-telling and a compelling musical score by A.R.Rahman, the Finnish group Varttina and Christopher Nightingale.

The Theatre Royal Drury Lane has been transformed into Middle-earth, transporting you straight to the core of Tolkien's fantastical universe. As hobbits and terrifying orcs roam the aisles, extraordinary special effects will leave you breathless as you are swept along on Frodo and Sam's incredible journey to the dark depths of Mordor in their quest to destroy the fabled ring.

There is a pre show in the auditorium 15 minutes before the performance so it is advisable to arrive early.
