Patrick Barlow's ingenious adaptation of The 39 Steps, John Buchan's unstageable thriller, arrives in the West End following a successful run at Kilburn's Tricycle Theatre.

It follows Canadian tourist Richard Hannay as he becomes embroiled in a spy plot and is framed for murder. In a race against time, he must prove his innocence before the police catch him.

Staged with a cast of just four actors playing over 135 roles, this spectacular spoof features every legendary scene from the classic Hitchcock film including the bi-plane crash, the chase on the Flying Scotsman and the escape on the Forth Bridge.
