Set in Los Angeles' Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages, centres on the characters of Drew, an aspiring rocker from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, who both have dreams of making it big in the music business.

The plot follows how the two meet, fall in love, lose each other then struggle to fight for their love.

The show, which has been a huge hit on Broadway, is an 80's rock music celebration and features music from bands like Bon Jovi, Posion, Whitesnake, Journey and Foreigner. The cast belt out more than 25 chart topping power ballads such as The Final Countdown, Don't Stop Believin', Wanted Dead or Alive, We Built This City and I Want to Know What Love Is.

Featuring big hair, ripped jeans, hoop earrings, pumping fists and shoulder pads, Rock of Ages evokes the sights, sounds and fashion of the era.
