Cameron Mackintosh's legendary production of Boublil and Schönberg's Les Miserables is a musical adaptation of Victor Hugo's famous humanitarian novel which chronicles one man's determined survival in the face of persecution.

Set amongst the backdrop of the French Revolution, the story follows the fortunes of ex-convict Jean Valjean who breaks parole to create a new life for himself. But he is relentlessly tracked down by a police inspector named Javert.

Featuring one of the most dramatic scores in musical theatre, the production includes songs such as On My Own, One More Day and Do You Hear The People Sing.

The uplifting show remains one of the most popular musicals in London thanks to its strong cast and enduring story of passion, love and redemption.
